SUMMARY:Advanced Online Teaching Strategies
DESCRIPTION:<p><span style="color:rgb(36, 36, 36); font-size:14.6667px">This workshop is designed for participants who have completed the Online Teaching Strategies (OTS) or have significant experience teaching online. </span><span style="color:rgb(36, 36, 36); font-size:14.6667px">In it, we will discuss various strategies for overcoming common pitfalls in online teaching. We will look at issues like student engagement, creating community, and maintaining work-life balance.</span></p>

<p><span style="color:rgb(36, 36, 36); font-size:14.6667px">End of the workshop, participants will:</span></p>

<p><span style="color:rgb(36, 36, 36); font-size:14.6667px">Evaluate the effectiveness</span><span style="color:rgb(36, 36, 36); font-size:14.6667px">&nbsp;of different engagement techniques through student feedback and performance metrics. </span></p>

<p><span style="color:rgb(36, 36, 36); font-size:14.6667px">Adapt engagement strategies</span><span style="color:rgb(36, 36, 36); font-size:14.6667px">&nbsp;to suit diverse learning styles and technological capabilities of students. </span></p>

<p><span style="color:rgb(36, 36, 36); font-size:14.6667px">Implement practices</span><span style="color:rgb(36, 36, 36); font-size:14.6667px">&nbsp;that encourage a sense of belonging and inclusivity in the virtual classroom. </span></p>
