<p>Designing Online Courses (DOC) is a three-week asynchronous course (with specific due dates) centered on instructional design for online courses. It is one of two foundational trainings required for the Online Teaching Excellence Certificate (OTEC).&nbsp;</p>

<p>Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:&nbsp;</p>

	<li>Support student success in an online course.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Develop measurable and specific learning objectives.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Develop and employ assessments, activities, and tools that align to learning objectives.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Design an online course that meets the UC Course Quality Standards.&nbsp;</li>
