The FEC is excited to announce a new series, “Café Conversations”. This will be a 30-minute conversation with leaders from both within and outside of the UC community. Our speakers will come from different backgrounds and contexts reflecting the rich mosaic of our community to share their insight and experiences on a variety of topics. The goal of Café Conversations is to foster connection and to spark dialogue among all members of the university. 

This month guest: Honorable Judge Alan C. Triggs

Alan Triggs is a judge of the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas General Division in Ohio. He assumed office on February 10, 2021.  Earlier Judge Triggs was elected to the Hamilton County Municipal Court for the term beginning January 3, 2018. Alan served as an assistant City of Cincinnati Prosecutor for 3 years and as a Hamilton County Municipal Court Magistrate for 11 years prior to being elected judge.

Alan is a 1988 graduate of Walnut Hills High School; 1991 graduate of Memphis State University; 1994 graduate of the University of Akron Law; and 2012 graduate of Concord Law School with a Master of Laws Degree (LLM).
