The University of Cincinnati will begin using a new disclosure system — Bearcat ROAR (Required Outside Activity Report) — starting in November. The ROAR disclosure system will replace the university’s current Outside Activity Report (OAR), providing a user-friendly interface to disclose outside activities and capture prior approvals. Employees will receive a notification to go into the system once the system is operational and it’s their turn to submit their ROAR!
This session is focused on the following objectives:
1. When to submit a ROAR for prior approval.
2. How to submit a ROAR.
3. How to review, approve or deny prior approval requests for outside activities.
4. How to request clarifications from direct reports.
5. How to submit approved outside activity requests.
