Faculty at any rank and from all colleges are invited to join us for a week of writing and fellowship! Participants will meet in the Faculty Enrichment Center (with an option to join online at https://ucincinnati.zoom.us/j/3434565983) to work on independent writing projects, set daily goals, report on progress, and make accountability check-ins. The workshop is a great opportunity to meet colleagues across disciplines within a structured and supportive writing community.

Goals/Learning Outcomes 
  • To produce a portion of writing for a research project.
  • To nurture productive writing habits for completing writing in a timely fashion.
  • To establish reasonable short- and long-term writing goals.
  • To create a community of writers who keep one another motivated and accountable to goals, and who serve as empathic listeners during discussion of writing issues.
  • To develop awareness of successful and unsuccessful writing strategies and to adjust in light of that awareness.
