Gathering feedback to enhance your teaching doesn’t have to be limited to only course evaluations. Building a reflective practice that incorporates feedback from many sources can help you make informed changes to your teaching and develop your teaching practice over time. In this interactive workshop, participants will explore multiple strategies for gathering meaningful feedback from students, peers, and themselves. Through activities and discussions, participants will learn how to interpret feedback constructively and implement feedback-driven changes to improve their teaching practices.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
1) Explain the benefits of gathering multiple forms of feedback throughout a course to improve their teaching;
2) Identify multiple ways of gathering feedback from students, peers, and themselves;
3) Discuss ways of using this feedback to inform their teaching and document their teaching over time.
